3rd Annual Kalikimaka with Kamaha'o
This was our first time covering the Kalikimaka with Kamaha'o. As one would expect, it was festive and filled with the seasons. From the decorations, the outfits, the music, and hula, it was all carrying the christmas spirit.

This event we started our setup with our basic setup of two cameras with one additional setup. I have been using our third backup camera incase of audio or footage difficulties. What makes videography for live events complex is trying to cover and account for all potential failures and having a backup plan for them. A videography myth is that it's just pressing a button to start record and "that's it." But those that believe that will harshly learn the reality once they do it themselves.

That's actually one of the reasons why we do what we do, it isn't for anyone. We love what we do, and we love making sure we can address what most people have difficulty doing with video, especially here on Kaua'i.
For these kind of large and long events, we noticed our clients' needs is for recording an entire event that is 4+ hours. This events was fun and we were stoked to be invited
